Disclosure

New Generation Montessori will only be opening for those families whose employment does allow them to work from home nor do they have a support system for childcare (i.e. hospital staff, emergency services, first responders, health care facilities and other critical services)

Should you choose to have your child attend our center during this time, you are  knowingly accepting all information/risks put forth by the federal government regarding CODIV-19, and that this is a high risk activity despite all precautionary steps taken by New Generation Montessori (ie. CDC guidelines for minimizing infectious diseases)

In order to save a spot, a full months tuition will be required should the school remain open. Should the school close, we will only require 25% of the tuition to allow us to keep our teachers afloat.

All children will be subject to the following daily before entry:

– Temperature check

– Hand washing procedures

– Evaluation by staff

For the safety of the staff and all of the families in the center, no children will be allowed in if they are showing ANY flu-like symptoms, in addition to any illnesses described in the Parents Handbook, which cannot be identified. Inclusive, they will not be able to return if the symptoms do not subside by the next school date, regardless of a doctor’s note. No refunds will be given for this case.

FLU-LIKE symptoms include:

  • fever* or feeling feverish/chills
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • runny or stuffy nose
  • muscle or body aches
  • headaches
  • fatigue (tiredness)
  • some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults.

*It’s important to note that not everyone with the flu will have a fever. Please refer to the following page for more information: (https://www.cdc.gov/flu/symptoms/symptoms.htm)

We will be strictly limiting parent/guardian/teacher interactions and will be receiving children with utmost precautions, including but not limited to:

– Minimizing and sanitizing the use of high traffic areas

  • Limiting family members from pick-up/drop-off (i.e grandparents)
  • Limitation of entry/exit by having only 1 parent pick-up and drop-off
  • Parents will not be allowed to come inside the classrooms
  • Everything must be labeled

Parents/children who think they have been exposed to COVID-19 must identify to staff immediately and must not go into the campus under any circumstances.

I understand all the information stated above and that any time this may change with no prior notice.
